California-based company AC Future unveiled the “AI-THd” (AI Transformer Home, Drivable) at CES 2025, an expandable electric motorhome that more than doubles in size, offering up to 37 m² of luxury.

Starting at 17.6 m², the vehicle expands by sliding out its side and rear walls. It features a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom with separate wet and dry areas, and a master bedroom, comfortably accommodating up to five people.

The driver’s cabin has a flat floor aligned with the rest of the space, creating an integrated extension with panoramic views.

Plans for the “AI-THd” include over 5 kW of solar panels on the roof, atmospheric water generation, and internet connectivity. AC Future also plans to offer both electric and diesel versions.

Developed in partnership with Hydra Design Labs, this prototype is the first in a series of three transformable models. Production is set to begin by the end of 2026, with additional “Home” and “Trailer” non-drivable versions scheduled for earlier release.

With the concept moving from renderings to a functional prototype in just one year, the AI-THd promises to redefine the motorhome market, combining advanced technology and comfort to cater to adventurers seeking innovation and practicality.
